What is a LiPo Battery?

They are specifically used for RC devices as they are significantly lighter than NiMH or NiCD packs
Important safety precautions
Firstly it is vital they are used correctly. Only use the charger provided with the batteries, which is a special charger specifically designed to charge lithium cells.
Never charge lithium batteries with NiCad or NiMH battery chargers as this can be extremely dangerous.
If charged incorrectly it may result in the battery bursting into violent flames.
Quick Tips
*Wait at least 15 to 20 minutes after you drain a battery to charge it.*If the battery is hot after use, then it is a good sign your battery is getting old.
